Unirubber introduces the Hybrid Infill, an organic infill for artificial turf systems. The new solution is a combination of organic components and state-of-the-art technology. The infill was created to increase the comfort of playing on artificial turf.
How does it work?
The Hybrid Infill is the first artificial turf filling on the market with an integrated natural cooling system that evaporates the absorbed water from the organic part of the granulate. These properties seek to restore the preservation of the pitch's natural turf, which naturally accumulates water reserves and releases it at high temperatures to evaporate, thus contributing to cooling the surface. In addition, during evaporation, the water drops accumulated on the artificial turf fibres contribute to the reduction of friction, so that the comfort and quality of play is very similar to that of a natural turf.
Why Hybrid Infill?
The economic advantage of Hybrid Infill artificial turf filling is the low bulk density of approx. 4-5 kg/m2 which makes it more cost-effective compared to other solutions available on the market. The Hybrid Infill has also been tested to maintain its properties at extremely different temperatures, making the use of artificial turf always enjoyable and complete.
It should also be noted that the density of granules is 1.3 g per cm3 , which is higher than the density of water, which does not cause the granules to move even during heavy rain compared to, for example, cork.
