The poured Neurofloor playground safety surface provides cushioning and reduces the risk of injury during a potential fall from a height. It is characterized by high durability and easy maintenance. Our Neurofloor surfacing system meets the requirements of PN-EN 1177+AC:2019-04 (HIC).
The materials used for the safe surface are certified by the National Institute of Hygiene. Thanks to the use of durable and weather-resistant EPDM Virgin rubber granules, it is possible to make a safe surface in any 29 colors from the available RAL palette, and installation on site allows for easy installation of playground equipment. The SBR technical granules used for the bottom layer come from recycled rubber waste with the highest quality parameters (we do not produce and do not recommend using SBR granules from recycled tires!).
Neurofloor safety surfacing should be poured on a primed asphalt, concrete, mineral or mineral-rubber (ET) substructure.
The Neurofloor safety surface system consists of two layers:
- SBR technical rubber granules (2-6 mm) bound with a single-component polyurethane binder. The thickness of the substructure layer depends on the design requirements for the height of the fall you want to cushion, for a given piece of playground equipment.
- Virgin EPDM rubber granules (1-3.5 mm) bound with polyurethane binder. This layer is responsible for the aesthetic qualities of the pavement.
- Depending on the needs, EPDM rubber granualt is used for binding:
- polyurethane aromatic binder
- polyurethane aliphatic binder for EPDM, UV resistant
- polyurethane aromatic binder for EPDM with fast setting reaction
The thickness of the EPDM rubber granule layer is fixed at 10 mm.
Neurofloor safety surfacing is prepared to meet the needs of 11 critical fall heights (HIC) from 1.3m to 3.5m.
The use of all Unirubber components (SBR Granules, EPDM Granules, Polyurethane binder) allows to obtain the HIC safety certificate for the prepared surface!
